KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building, automating, and maintaining a suite of Claims Management Information reporting.
- Customer Service performance trend analysis.
- Claims indemnity spend reserving and settled cost trend analysis.
- Claims lifecycle trend analysis.
- Monitoring of consistency of performance and highlighting areas of inconsistency which require further investigation.
- Producing data packs for internal meetings representing analysis in concise, unambiguous table, graph, or chart formats to explain performance and trends.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including Claims, Customer, Pricing and Underwriting teams, as well as Third Party suppliers.
- Collation of information from multiple data sources to be presented in a singular, straightforward format.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical and analytical background. University degree in Mathematics or Statistics preferred.
- Knowledge and proficiency in SQL reporting.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of database structure and design.
- Basic knowledge of the UK Home Insurance market including the Claims function.
- Strong problem-solving skills: able to effectively analyse new situations, and to suggest and implement pragmatic solutions.
- An interest and basic knowledge of Machine Learning and AI would be useful.
