As we scale and accelerate our business globally, we wish to recruit a talented Communications amp; Content Marketing Specialist into our growing Marketing team.

Duties

  • To create and deliver effective, engaging, and compelling content for both internal and external audiences to help differentiate the Thomas brand. Equally adept at creating long and short copy, our Communications amp; Content Marketing Specialist will be passionate about creation of compelling, cut-through marketing amp; public relations content designed to create awareness, engagement, and buzz. The daily workload will cover the entire content marketing mix: from email copy and web banners through to thought leadership reports, website content, blog posts, webinar presentations, social media content, case studies, news stories, press releases, video scripts and award submissions.
  • As the content engine fuelling our global marketing machine, our Camp;CM Specialist will be an integral part of our content and design team in producing every type of marketing collateral required to support the diverse needs of a modern performance marketing function - content designed to actively engage and motivate customers/stakeholders whilst maintaining a cohesive brand voice.
  • To be able to create quality content rapidly while maintaining high professional standards, but also identify opportunities for re-using or improving content across channels. The repurpose, re-use and expansion of existing content base to help improve inbound discoverability is a core goal of the role.
  • To own the ‘Content Editorial Calendar’ across the marketing team, to enable and drive the content planning process, write and proof-read internal and client facing copy, and work with product and field marketing, channel partners and sales teams to identify customers suitable for case studies and webinars.
  • To help define an improved social strategy and own the publication of content through the priority social channels for Thomas, including engaging with key influencers to try and improve reach, engagement and lead generation from Thomas’ social investments.
  • To partner closely with the CMO and support our external PR agency in helping drive earned media and awareness outcomes for Thomas, through rapid input-to and approval-of agency-created content.
  • To deliver quality content that appeals to our different audiences, attract customers and boosts brand awareness.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Creation of engaging marketing content to drive lead generation programs.
  • Social media content creation, posting and channel management.
  • Experience in supporting PR programs.
  • Experience working within modern, funnel-driven marketing organisations.
  • Copywriting.
  • Research using multiple sources.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable relevant experience.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with video and podcasts formats.
  • Experience of working within the marketing function of a software or technology provider.
  • CIM Diploma (or similar) or marketing related degree.

Skills:

  • Outstanding writing and proofing skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and accurate copy quickly.
  • Excellent time and workload management - capable of juggling many different projects and priorities and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to apply consistent tone of voice to all communications.
