Job Description

Thank you for your interest in the role of Teacher Development Assistant at the Chartered College of Teaching. This is a 3 month fixed term contract until July 2021 and the salary is circa 21,000 per annum (FTE) (dependent on experience). We are looking for a highly motivated and efficient individual for this busy and exciting temporary role, for an immediate start. You may have a background working in education, be studying on an education-related course, or be seeking your first step in the education sector.

Due to exceptional demand for our teacher development and certification programmes, the Chartered College of Teaching is seeking to recruit a temporary Teacher Development Assistant (3 month contract) to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Programme Delivery, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high performing team with an organisation that keeps going from strength to strength. The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to support teachers who engage with the Chartered College by providing excellent service to candidates on our programmes and administrative support to the team.

About the role

The culture at the Chartered College is friendly and fast paced we are constantly challenging, testing and adapting the way we do things. We are growing as an organisation and therefore investing in extra resource to help support candidates on our teacher development and certification programmes.

The Teacher Development Assistant is responsible for supporting the team in delivering a high quality experience to candidates on our teacher development programmes, projects and events. This will be a wide-ranging role, including managing applications and candidate data, supporting with commissioning programme content, liaising with event attendees and speakers, proof-reading content, subtitling videos, analysing survey responses and more!
