We are looking for an International Operations Manager to join the Core Operation team, to support with growth and development across our international markets and phases. You will need to be comfortable reaching out to different departments across the company to ensure that the country managers are supported in launching and continuing to develop their markets. You’ll be a key player in defining, building and managing Twinkl’s growth internationally.
This is a very varied role that involves both proactive strategic planning and reactive work as you pivot and respond to the demands of your growing market.
A typical week would involve any of the following:
- Establishing what the needs are in countries and/or phases, and what potential opportunities there are for project creation and management
- Supporting Country Managers to answer questions, report bugs, and develop products for one or more domains
- Work alongside Core Operations to ensure that any processes launched are rolled out internationally, and identify scope for smoother operational process within the International department
- Phone screen and onboard new candidates into the International Growth team working alongside the Talent Acquisition team
- Write weekly copy to other Product Owners, Segment Managers and the company as a whole about what’s happening in International
- Work with Web Development to help fix bugs on international domains, and launch promotions for international markets
- Look at the overall user experience of international customers and work with the web and design teams to continuously improve and localise this
- Attend data reporting meetings, and relay success stories to other stakeholders
- Oversee the rollout of the Roadmap to Growth and Global Expansion Checklist

Requirements
We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:
- Cares passionately about education, with strong links and experience with it
- Understands what good prioritisation is, and values output and results
- Is super-positive, optimistic and works well within a team
- Experience marketing a product within the education sector
- Is organised and able to work through several products at the same time
- Have sound decision-making skills and diligence in seizing new opportunities.
- Be commercially astute and a strategic thinker who is comfortable taking calculated risks and being accountable for successes and failures
- Be able to communicate a shared vision and motivate individuals and a team
