  • Report regularly on the status of research and development activities and team members to senior management
  • Coordinate research and development activities to align with the activity of other Bigtincan teams
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders across the business to ensure that Ramp;D activities are successfully productised

  • Strong understanding of common technologies used in large-scale software systems
  • Demonstrable experience of carrying out research-oriented activities in a software development field, producing documented results in an organised and timely manner.
  • Ensure Bigtincan continues to invest appropriately in technical areas that are likely to improve their commercial offerings
  • Learn about the business context driving the research activities of the Ramp;D team, and applying this knowledge to direct and advise the team’s activities.
  • Line-manage the Ramp;D team to motivate and challenge them, and perform all Bigtincan People and Culture activities to the required standard: for example, regular one-to-ones, goal-setting and performance reviews
  • Concise and unambiguous communication skills, both online and face-to-face, using an appropriate medium
  • A proven ability to manage a team both remotely and in person in a professional office environment
  • A strong sense of process, detail and follow through to confirm tasks are complete to Bigtincan’s required levels of quality
