About the team.

I have a fantastic role available for an Electrical Trade Marketing Executive within the Trade Planning Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an internal colleague on a 12 month secondment. The team focus purely on electrical, so it's a great opportunity to work on one of our biggest category's, working with some of our biggest brands, Apple, Sony and Samsung to name a few. Whilst marketing plays an important part of the role, strong trading experience is the most important aspect.


About the role.

The Marketing Executive will play a big role in driving sales for the electrical category. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing campaigns for our team, specifically supporting the Electrical and Gaming category's. The marketing campaigns will be customer focused and brand specific, giving you the opportunity to work with some of our biggest brands. Strong trading experience is key to the success to the role. You will develop creative briefs for activity in line with Trading calendars and communicate to internal creative teams and key stakeholders across various teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and co-ordinate detailed YOY plans across all channels and media which clearly articulates risks and opportunities.
  • Develop creative briefs for activity in line with Trading calendars and communicate to internal creative teams and key stakeholders
  • Attend and represent in the Monday Trade meetings to share activity plan and understand Category performance to create and brief appropriate actions plan to support performance as and when necessary.
  • Review and interpret category activity using Google Analytics and MI data and recommend changes to improve performance of future activity.
  • Manage and lead monthly category sessions to understand priorities and translate into activity within the Electrical Trading Calendar.
  • Own the implementation and delivery of campaigns and activities with key stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate weekly priorities to be shared with marketing channels to maximise exposure of key activity.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external contacts to ensure efficient processes.
  • Manage and lead on the delivery of high profile and brand specific trade events and key campaigns.
  • Drive innovation, working with the Threefold Agency by identifying new opportunities and campaigns to maximise product category performance
  • Represent the Electrical amp; Gaming Category in event working sessions to understand the plans and influence for Electrical relevancies.
  • Attend and represent the Electrical amp; Gaming Category in weekly meetings with key stakeholders to ensure all onsite activity is tracked and implemented.
  • Oversee onsite updates each week ensuring these align to the Electrical Trading Plan, making sure the customer journey is relevant.

Due to this being an internal role, benefits will be discussed during the interview process. If you are applying for a grade higher, you may receive a salary uplift (TARA) for the 12 month secondment. No matter grade, all current benefits will remain the same.
