Learning and Development support the people strategy and operational requirements in relation to business growth and day to day responsibilities for skills, development, design and projects. Our vision is To provide effective, safe and quality learning interventions for the heart of our business in the role they are taking, the role they are in and the role they want in the future It is an integral department within operations supporting staff from their first day and through their career progression within THG.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Lamp;D Databases to ensure accurate record keeping
  • Monitor training validations and update daily
  • Work closely with the Project and Process team to provide skill gap data
  • Create and monitor attendance for cross training
  • Working with the Lamp;D Specialists ensure that cross training, new starter and peak plans are executed and reported on
  • Manage the Operational Trainer’s weekly rotas to ensure there is cover for training requirements
  • Provide regular skill gap reports to the Specialists
  • Drives improvements for data input and reporting
  • Supports other site coordinators with work load during busy periods
  • Supports with the delivery of Corporate Inductions
  • Provides reporting for stakeholders based on Lamp;D Interventions
  • General admin tasks such as room bookings, stationery and uniform orders
  • Prep for Operational trainers
  • Training room checks

Requirements

  • Excellent PC skills specifically in Excel and Access
  • Confident Communication style (verbal and written)
  • Time Management
  • People focused
  • Results focused
  • Analytical
  • General understanding of site Health amp; Safety, Quality and HR procedures
  • Flexibility with travel to other sites
