Within our Commercial Team, we have an unrivaled offering of external hard landscaping solutions and a passionate sales force who successfully provides our customers with solutions. It is within this team that we are recruiting for a Regional Head of Commercial Sales (also referred to as Regional Trading Manager) to cover our Northern Region.
So, what’s it all about?
In this Senior Management position, you will report to our Commercial Trading Director and manage a team of 9 dedicated colleagues who look after our Commercial Specifier, Ground Worker amp; Civils Merchant accounts, our National and Regional Housebuilders, and our major must-win projects.
Your main goals will be creating, developing, and executing strategies supporting your team to successfully deliver sales and specification, whilst always considering new and better ways to do things. We’re ready for you to challenge our expectations and really create a space for yourself, where you can improve on what’s already in place.
So how do we think you can achieve that? Well, it will come as no surprise that building great relationships is at the forefront of your success. Your customers could be Directors of lead architectural practices, MD’s of merchant accounts, an owner of a groundworks company, or a key player from a large house builder’s organisation. It is within this core customer group that you’ll convert specifications into sales and negotiate trading agreements with a commercial approach, recognising exciting opportunities and considering how best to manage margins.
On a regular basis, you will provide sales forecasts for your region, manage overheads, support the delivery of any price increases, whilst also gathering market intelligence as required.
