The essence of the role

The Mamp;A HR Project Lead will manage specific projects for live or past deal integrations. You will lead current EMEA based deal and establish strong, pragmatic frameworks that can be optimized and reused across nations. You will provide hands-on support and project management for deals from due diligence through integration phases. You will pro-actively scope, define and propose approaches to solve key blockers, engaging relevant stakeholders and leading to delivery of goals. You will escalate and pro-actively manage where needed, to ensure all obstacles to deals and integration goals are flagged and addressed in a timely manner to meet objectives and support business growth. This is a 6-12 month contract with possibility to prolong or make permanent.


As our new Mamp;A HR Project Lead you will:

Your prime responsibility will be to lead core HR integration work streams. In this role you will need to isolate the difference between Sinch and the acquired company, foresee interdependencies and drive/lead through others.


  • On a Due Diligence stage perform analysis of data room and identify gaps/risks to enable informed assessment of risks and opportunities
  • Prepare for Day 1 activities, including drafting contracts, offers, letters
  • Ensure that welcome sessions have the right material for people experience
  • Ensure a smooth employee data integration
  • Lead HR integration through the whole integration process (up to 6-12 months)
  • Support compensation and benefit integration and job levelling
  • Provide excellent customer service to new employees with regard to resolving integration questions
  • Ensure that Mamp;A tools, best practices and lessons learned are documented
  • Provide excellent communication with stakeholders
  • Work with other substreams, leads and external consultants in different integration projects


Who are you?

You are an experienced HR, Change or Mamp;A Project Manager, who loves overview, details and fast pace. Most likely you’re working in HR for a company with lots of Mamp;A and Integration activities. You’re comfortable with not knowing what types of projects you’ll be working on; Compamp;Ben, payroll, facilities, systems migration, sales variable payments etc. Your work will cut across different areas and phases of Mamp;A.

You’re a project manager you may work in due diligence stages of a deal, as well as between signing and closing or post-merger implementation. You have a solutions-oriented mindset, are curious, open-minded, structured and can adapt your communication to different stake holders.


In order to be successful in this role you have/are:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 year of relevant experience as an HR Business Partner and/or with Mamp;A integration
  • Experience leading global or regional change initiatives
  • Experience within core central HR specialist functions: Compensation, Benefits, Stock, Talent acquisition
  • Ability to deliver results on time with a high level of accuracy during fast-paced deals
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to prioritize, communicate on top-level risks and requirements, and suggest mitigation approaches
  • Experience of working in matrix, global organisations
  • Experience of working across the EMEA on employment-related projects
  • Full verbal and written business level proficiency in English
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office in general and in Excel / PowerPoint in particular essential tools for accomplishing many tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to zoom in on details as well as zoom out to the bigger picture, making it easy for others to follow your thought.
