About Oxsed

Oxsed was founded in April 2020 by world-leading scientists from the University of Oxford, a global leader in infectious diseases research.

Our vision and ambition is to create a world where disease doesn’t disrupt normal life. We aim to minimise the impact of disease on individuals and communities by providing accurate and rapid testing throughout the world.

The first diagnostic test we developed is called the Oxsed RaVid Direct - this is a rapid, accurate and scalable test for COVID-19.

Though our journey started with tackling the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now expanding to address other diseases that affect the day-to-day lives of millions across the world.

Oxsed's HQ is in Oxford, but we already have testing sites at Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stansted, Luton, Manchester and the O2 in London as we help support the reopening of travel and events this year.
