Front-End JavaScript Developer - Vue.js

As a Front-End JavaScript Developer, you will help us build our online end to end sales platform for the hospitality industry. Our clients range from small restaurants and cafes to the large UK and global chains.

The successful candidate will have experience in Vue.js and commercial experience in developing complex single-page applications, and be passionate about developing B2C and B2B applications, rather than websites and have great experience in developing commercial web products, ideally e-commerce applications.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain high-performance API-first applications written in Vue.js
• Work closely with product designer, automation engineer and backend developer in a cross-functional product team to create high-quality user experiences
• Work in a fast paste startup/scaleup environment
• Architect solutions for the best performance, security and reliability
• Contribute to a centralized design system

Skills amp; Experience

• Ideally around 1+ years experience of Vue/Vuex and Webpack.
• Strong experience in unit testing, integration testing and end-to-end testing. Strong knowledge of Jest, exposure to Nock and Cypress
• Strong experience in HTML5/CSS3 and CSS preprocessors such as SCSS/LESS. Understanding of CSS scoping methods like BEM or CSS Modules.
• Good understanding of frontend performance and architecture.
• Experience in writing and building your own components libraries and UI kit.
• Experience in working in small agile teams using JIRA as a project management tool
