We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our management team in our Marylebone store. You will be accountable for promoting brand engagement and loyalty to clients in order to guarantee store business goals. You will be accountable for sustaining the brand image, achieving sales and KPIs goals, managing the store team, recruiting, retaining and developing clients, and guaranteeing compliance with all processes and guidelines set by the Customer Experience Director and the Store Manager in order to bring the store to its full potential.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business development:

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to maximise business opportunities and working efficiencies.
  • Translating the Store strategy into actionable plans for the team and roll them out to deepen existing relationships and acquire more potential top tier clients.
  • Understanding and monitoring local business environment including market trends and competition.
  • Proactively defining opportunities for growth and execute actions accordingly.
  • Communicating high quality relevant feedback to Store Manager/HO and/or store team.

Talent leadership and development:

  • Create and maintain a positive work environment, consistent with Matchesfashion Leadership behaviors.
  • Responsible for managing, leading and developing the team, providing regular direction and guidance to enhance their performance with the aim of ensuring that they are providing the most personal luxury shopping experience in the world.
  • In conjunction with store manager, set sales targets and support the team’s performance against those, monitor KPIs and regularly analyze and report against them. Identify opportunities and initiatives to continually improve performance within the team.
  • Support the recruitment and on boarding of new members.
  • Build trust and rapport so the team respect you as a strong, fair, reliable leader
  • Align oneself with the ‘Leadership Behaviors’ and coach the team to respect this way of working.
  • To create and deliver ‘product trainings’ to the team to constantly improve their brand knowledge and performance to maximise sales

Brand promotion:

  • Behave as a Matchesfashion Ambassador, sustain and promote the culture of the brand internally and externally, leading by example
  • Ensure MF Customer journeys and Client experience are executed and consistent.
  • Develop clienteling mindset and client's loyalty and retention from acquisition to top tier.
  • Work alongside the Events team to explore opportunities to expand our current client lists.
  • Support the Store Manager and the VE team to ensure the correct product is always in store. By analyzing, monitoring and reporting regularly to the management team, highlighting trends and new opportunities to drive sales.
