Ruroc exists to make helmets cool. We believe that re-engineering protection with the perfect balance of art and science will make people want to wear our helmets, making them safer and will mean they live longer (and cooler!). In 2019 we had our first 1m turnover day and in 2020 we had our first 1m turnover hour and we’re now in a fabulous position to build further growth.

In January 2020 the business completed a strategic review to build on this foundation, leading to a number of initiatives Ruroc believes will unlock future growth. Firstly, the business is now investing significant operational / systems upgrades to improve efficiency, leading to improvements in business processes and customer experience. Secondly, a clear product and target audience strategy that will help Ruroc create more amazing products, engaging content/stories that engage this audience and generate high lifetime value. Finally, a number of new roles across the business have been created to help expedite growth, this being one of them.

The leadership team believe this investment plan can unlock up to 100% growth in 2020 and then onto annual revenues of 50m within 3 years, making it one of the fastest-growing UK companies.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing global sponsorships, reporting to the Head of PR. The successful candidate will be proactive and passionate, creative and organised, have a track record of organising and executing successful sponsorship campaigns with Ruroc's sponsored athletes/talent and have exemplary interpersonal skills with great relationship management capabilities.

• Internal Reports on sponsored athletes/talent performance each month.
• Performance review and a catch up each month with our talent.
• Making sure our athletes hit their minimum post requirements.
• Utilize our sponsored athletes/talent for campaign marketing.
• Organise gifts for Birthdays. Making them feel important.
• Relationship management. We offer a friendly service and fast responses. Be a legend.
• Contract management, if a contract is coming to an end make a decision on whether we re-negotiate or let them go.
• Send products upon request.
• Scout new talent in each region.
• Send proposals and Negotiate contracts.
• Build the biggest community of motorcycle/snow riders.

Requirements

KEY SKILLS

• Confident and articulate communicator capable of influencing and inspiring strong collaborations.

• Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
• Able to give clarity and direction as well as problem solve.
• Able to work independently, and as part of a team, with passion and energy.

EXPERIENCE

You have

• Experience in PR with a focus on influencer marketing/sponsorships
• Proven experience and understanding of Instagram
• Proficient understanding of Social Media in particular the commercial value that social channels can drive as well as brand building.
• Contract management experience

You might have

• A degree with a Marketing focus.
• Experience in snow, moto or sporting products.
• Purchased Ruroc or similar products, you’re a customer / love skiing, snowboarding and/or motorcycling.
