About the Role

Due to exceptional growth in 2020, we are looking to hire an Ecommerce Sales Manager to join Team Asia here at THG Beauty Brands in Manchester, who won 'Team of the Year 2020' due to the incredible results they drove last year!

Responsibilities

China Market Place TMall

  • Responsible for developing annual sales forecasts and ecommerce trading strategies for TMall flagship stores of THG skincare brands
  • Manage day-to-day TMall operation planning and execution-pricing, stock, marketing, promotions in conjunction with external TPs to drive and achieve monthly sales KPIs
  • Responsible for daily and monthly analysis and reporting of TMall sales and trading metrics performance, proposing ideas and suggestions for ongoing optimisation
  • Work closely with internal key stakeholders Global Brand, Supply Chain, Finance to regularly update on TMall performance and forward forecasting, fully integrating and leveraging sources to drive sales

China B2B Retail Distribution

  • Lead business development initiatives and pitch distribution partners to drive B2B sales growth
  • Responsible for leading daily B2B account management (forecast, operations, budgeting, promotions) to deliver commercial KPIs
  • Build strong working relationships with key B2B accounts, monitoring performance vs expected growth with targeted mitigation plans where required
  • Lead and coach junior sales executives to deliver trading activities and drive team wide commercial objectives
  • Keep abreast of latest Asia/China ecommerce industry and competitive landscapes, providing insights into new business opportunities, proposing actions to maximise commercial growth

KPIs

  • Manage Mama Mio TMall store amp; B2B distribution and deliver a total annual sales target of 2.25M
  • Manage Mio TMall store trading and deliver a total annual sales target of 291k

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of China ecommerce and B2B retail sales experiences, beauty and personal care industry experiences at a TP agency or distribution business are highly preferred
  • Solid knowledge and hands on experience and understanding of managing trading and promotions on key China / Asia market places
  • Strong analytical skill and commercial sense, able to manage sales forecasting, budget planning, analyse and translate sales/marketing/product data into operational insights and propose feasible actions to optimise sales performance
  • Strong people management skill, able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive results
  • Ambitious, result driven, entrepreneurial with ability to work under pressure and multitask and handle business challenges as and when they arise
  • Fluent English and Mandarin speaker

**The job will be located in Manchester - Salary for this role is 35,000 - 40,000 per annum - Opening date for the role is Thursday 22nd April - Closing date for role will be Friday 21st May**
