How can you change it up?

Joining our small but dynamic team, your key focus will be to generate and close on new business opportunities within the public sector across the towns and cities we have announced in our plans, leveraging on investments and achieving an 80% penetration rate.

It’s a busy role where you’ll be developing a pipeline of large-scale business development opportunities, acting as the bid lead for major commercial opportunities, developing relationships with partners and associates and managing key strategic accounts.

What will you bring to the role?

You’ll have strong experience in a similar public sector sales role where you’ve maintained a consistent track record of achieving 500k in reoccurring revenue, with contract value targets of more than 5m. You’ll also have:

  • An understanding of complex procurement processes within local authorities with links to key service providers to the public sector
  • Experience and confidence in the bid management process
  • Strong commercial judgement and financial knowledge
  • A broad skillset of sales skills, relationship development, market analysis, business planning, bid leadership and negotiation
  • A commercially creative approach to market entry, propositions, deal structuring and closing
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
