Internship Summary

The Product Intern role will have responsibility to support project delivery specifically in the area of Asset Services (construction, furnishing), Lettings and Property Management. To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive and creative leader and a reliable problem-solver. If you’re also confident and have a knack for knowing what ideas will and won’t work, we’d like to meet you. You will guide the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects; with data as the centre-piece of every transaction at IMMO. The role has the potential to grow into a full time position at IMMO in the future.

Duration: 3-6 months

Nature: Part-time / Full-time


Responsibilities

  • Drive business objectives and be responsible for delivering key results
  • Translate business requirements into project plans, with full understanding of responsibility within initiatives across the organization
  • Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD) and relevant documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead in understanding and validating challenges, work with the cross-functional teams (business, engineering, data and design) to understand options and develop solutions.
  • Build a technical understanding of the existing product setup to contribute to design decisions
  • Develops solid hypotheses early in the project and shares these with the team
  • Work with implementation partners to create and maintain customised solutions (process, data, workflows etc.) and integrate with other SaaS products through API or otherwise.
  • Collect information and data from inside and outside sources to inform product direction
  • Perform quality assurance testing and controls on product
  • Own the process for releases, push the organisation to make sure projects can be delivered on time, and proactively sound the alarm if things are delayed
  • A deeply analytical mindset and track record for evidence-based data driven decisions whilst also building business intuition around the product
  • Ability to go the extra mile with co-developing solutions with the engineering and data team through the use of SQL and an appreciation of working with ERDs

Requirements

  • Must have: 2-3 years of prior product management experience
  • Passionate about conceiving, creating and designing useful, innovative products
  • Self-starter with an eye to look out for business problems or product flaws and coming up with creative solutions
  • A passion for using different data inputs (user insights, stakeholder feedback, and analytics) to solve the most important problems
  • Experience in product lifecycle management and familiarity with Agile and Scrum framework
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence to keep work visible and stakeholders informed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
