We are Zoomo, a Sydney-based tech platform providing smart Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) and after-sales servicing for commercial and logistics customers. Our fleet is spread across the globe in Australia, the US, and the UK, and we are continuing to expand!

THE ROLE:

Do you love building things? Do you want to build your own business one day? If yes then this role is the perfect opportunity to own growth for Zoomo in Europe. We are looking for someone who will develop the implementation plan, hire the launch team and oversee the start-up of operations across multiple countries.

  • Plan and deliver an ambitious European expansion strategy based on demand, profitability and speed to launch
  • Launch new countries and cities across Europe.
    • Manage all phases launch: supply, logistics, real estate, mechanic and city launcher hiring and implementation of operations.
    • You will be working from developed playbooks however these will need to be adapted for each country.
    • Hire, onboard and train the Zoomo teams at each location
    • Take full responsibility for launch success - from on time delivery to workshops are fitted out the Zoomo way
  • Close major deals with Europe's largest, top tier on-demand and last mile delivery players
    • Generate new leads and opportunities, leveraging Zoomo's brand and existing client relationships in the UK in new European markets
    • Negotiate multi million dollar, multi year contracts in a competitive environment
    • Build close relationships with customers, understand their needs and ensure that Zoomo grows in the right way, alongside them across Europe
  • Act like the company is yours, bring love and passion to your work

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in builds things (business lines, non-profits, art, anything
  • Start-up experience is valuable
  • Multiple European languages desirable, time spent living/working/studying in Europe essential
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, both within Zoomo and with external accounts. Able to communicate and listen effectively; great written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Self-starter mentality. Excited by a growth environment and willing to try new strategies while keeping the focus on achieving results. Focus on getting things done without needing to rely on established processes
  • Analytical thinking. Data-driven mentality and strong business judgment. Able to roll up your sleeves and analyze the data and pull key insights
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to build and manage strong relationships with their team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners
  • Alignment with Zoomo’s vision and purpose
