Zapp is a hyper growth startup with an ever growing headcount of great talent. Finding the right people takes skill and time (which is always tight). Your role will be crucial to helping Zapp source outstanding candidates, screen these accordingly and coordinate and conduct interviews. You will ensure that hiring managers and candidates have a smooth and professional hiring and onboarding experience and thereby contribute significantly to our employer brand. Ultimately, you will gain broad and hands on experience in recruitment in a fast paced environment and contribute greatly to the future of Zapp!


Responsibilities

  • Actively source candidates using our recruiting tool workable and other various platforms like LinkedIn
  • Create and publish best in class job descriptions
  • Screen and shortlist high potential candidate CVs
  • Conduct and evaluate first round video and phone interviews
  • Organise and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers
  • Identify opportunities to improve the candidates and hiring managers experience
  • Assist with the onboarding process for successful candidates
  • Maintain an organized candidate database at all times
  • Consistently improve and contribute to our recruiting tool and playbook
  • Help build an outstanding employer brand, from contributing creative ideas to consistently enhancing the recruitment process

Requirements

  • You have a bachelors or masters degree (or are in the process of studying for one)
  • Extremely strong organisation, time management and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for recruitment and talent development
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with hiring managers and potential candidates
  • Self motivated and able to work towards deadlines and targets
