This apprenticeship opportunity is offered in conjunction with study of the Supply Chain Management Apprenticeship Level 3, delivered by ALS/University of South Wales. Key responsibilities will be:
- Daily review of open order book.
- Chasing suppliers where necessary obtaining PODs.
- Placing of domestic purchase orders and all associated tasks.
- Daily liaison with other departments to ensure excellent flow of information
- Invoice queries to be actioned in timely manner.
- Set new products up/update prices/datasheets, etc
- There will be a gradual introduction to international supply chain activities.
- This is not an exhaustive list, and you may be required to carry out additional duties.
Requirements
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- IT literate.
- Mathematics and English GCSE (Grade A-C).
- Willingness to learn, drive and ambition.
- Over 16 years old, not in full-time education and living in Wales.
