We have a unique opportunity for an Office Manager to join us in our brand-new Centre of Excellence in Reading!

Our Centre of Excellence is the central hub for our commercial and editorial teams where they will come to work as an office base and use as a testing base! We are scaled up for testing across our brands; one day you might see new bikes being tested in our cycle review area and the next you might see some new cuisines being dished up in one of our kitchens for our food brands!

This is a position for an Office Manager who is always one step ahead, you'll be the face of the Centre of Excellence, greeting senior partners, running the complexities of our busy post room, handling our fleet of vehicles and (when we're able to) managing travel and booking requests.


This role will be fully office based, working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors
  • Ordering office supplies tea, coffee, milk, fruit, stationery etc.
  • Be the point of contact for the IT department for new starters, leavers and equipment processes.
  • Assist with basic IT Issues such as meeting room faults (Google Hangout issues)
  • Support the facilities department and be the point of contact for maintenance issues, mailing, supplies, equipment and errands
  • Keep log of incoming/outgoing products for brands
  • General office admin support and first point of contact for admin
  • Assisting in maintenance of records
  • Booking travel
  • Answer switchboard calls
  • Ad hoc project work
  • Arranging and attending corporate events
  • Coordinating team events
  • Support ELT with basic admin
  • Managing small fleet of vans, signing in and out, organising MOT/Service

  • Highly proactive, on the ball and able to pre-empt problems
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Confident in dealing with senior management
