Requirements
What we're looking for:
A personable, engaging and highly motivated strategic finance specialist to join to help us scale towards our Series B and beyond. You'll be a core part of our management team, leading a newly built finance function. You'll have a strong understanding of FPamp;A and strategic finance, however also be able to confidently manage and oversee an accounting amp; control process.
What you'll do:
- Set financial strategy amp; business plan (collaboratively with the CEO amp; VP, Strategy)
- Lead on Series B+ fundraising with our CEO and support on any Mamp;A activity
- Design KPIs amp; Objectives for the business (collaboratively with the VP, Strategy amp; VP Ops)
- Manage and oversee a Financial Controller who will build an operationally excellent finance process (end-to-end) that helps use scale
It’s the perfect role for you if you:
- Have experience in a senior finance position within a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Have experience in leading and or/heavily involved in the building of a finance system (end-to-end) from scratch
- Have experience with fundraising, building forecasts, managing due-diligence and the investor pipeline process
- Have experience in working with international businesses, supporting on GTM strategies, forecasts and finance optimisation in multiple regions across the world
- Are an excellent communicator, able to communicate complex financial concepts with simplicity and clarity with people across the company
- Have strong stakeholder management skills, able to confidently manage discussions with investors, boards amp; C-Suite at all stages of businesses
- Are a deeply analytical thinker, you're confident using data and a have a good commercial understanding to think financial insights back to business decisions
- Are a strategic thinker, however aren't adverse to getting hands on and in the weeds when necessary to push things forward
It’s a plus if you have
- Experience with subscription based and/or SaaS businesses
- Experience leading Mamp;A deals - analysis, through to negotiation, deal-structure, due-diligence and acquisition
- Experience working in or expanding a business into North America
