The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office are seeking a Business Case Writer to join their team in Milton Keynes.

This role requires Active SC (Security Check) clearance. Applicants require active SC clearance or the willingness to go through clearance before starting on site. Candidates with current clearance will be preferred.
Main Responsibilities
To support delivery of Hera business change and comms amp; engagement strategies, by:
- Advising on and delivering appropriate change activity for a major UK Government Department implementing a new ERP system while undergoing post-merger transformation
- Developing products for Business Change: including scripts and behaviour products linked to developed personas amp; user journeys;
- Developing products for Comms and amp; Engagement: videos, presentations, information packs, intranet posts etc.)
- Planning for and participating in regional conferences and direct calls with Users across FCDO’s global network;
- Support in managing change networks
- Managing stakeholders in a geographic region ensuring they have the right information at the right time
- Supporting planning amp; delivery of other engagement activity, to a wide range of FCDO stakeholders (including senior leaders amp; managers; core HR amp; Finance professionals; User Forum and other networks); and external stakeholders as required, including cross programme initiatives (eg: working with IT and Transformation workstreams)
- Involved in business readiness and review of evaluation of readiness
- Provide post go-live support to Users and support User adoption
- Work in partnership with other colleagues in the Team
- Support the evaluation of BC/Camp;E strategy and actions
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience of managing change (preferably in an international context)
- Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation
- Proven record of strong stakeholder engagement, at all levels of an organisation
- ERP knowledge/experience, preferably Oracle
- Knowledge of UK Civil Service
- SFIA: Level 4.
Candidate Eligibility
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 General visas are cannot be accepted. This role requires that candidates be willing to undergo BPSS (DS) Baseline Personnel Security Standard (with a Disclosure Scotland).
