Monday to Friday afternoon, 15:00 to 19:00 totalling 20 hours per week
28 days holiday cover where the shifts will be 0700 to 1900
9.71 per hour
Reports To:
Site Supervisor / Site Manager / Account Management Team
Role Purpose:
Complying with Assignment Instructions to protect staff and customers from acts of intimidation or violence, and to ensure the client’s premises and property are protected from criminal activity. Provide a high standard of customer service, thus maintaining the good reputation of Axis Security.
Role Requirement:
As the first point of contact for all staff and visitors the front of house security operative needs to have a positive attitude and professional behaviour. They will always greet staff and customers consistently and convey a friendly attitude, and be helpful and professional to the various visitors. They will ensure that all customers and staff have a pleasant experience at the clients site
Specific Duties: (site relevant)
- Delivery of Front of House / Reception services at the clients site
- Correct operation of the Visitor Management systems
- Display an outstanding level of customer service continually striving to meet and exceed expectations
- Efficiently react and respond to customer enquiries and concerns taking action to resolve wherever possible
- Welcome and converse with internal and external customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Actively promote a safe working environment
- Complete all administrative tasks and paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all existing and new procedures and policies
- Champion and positively support any changes within the workplace
- Promote and share best practice across all departments and sites
- Actively participate in training, development and self-learning
- Maintain a high level of personal presentation at all times
- To be an ambassador for the company and display a positive attitude towards work
- To undertake any other reasonable requests/tasks as requested by the Site Supervisor / Site Manager / Account Management Team and/or the client
Essential Skills Required:
- Be smart and well presented at all times ensuring footwear is polished and clothes are smart
- Have previous experience in the security industry, ideally in a receptionist or front of house role
- Have the relevant SIA licence (if required at the site)
- Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service
- Have previous experience in the customer service / security industry
- Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
- Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team
- Have a full five year checkable work history and current valid passport
