Office Administrator/ Receptionist 12 month contract.

Due to our continued growth, an office administrator join our operations department.

The Role

We are looking for a Office administrator/ Front of house receptionist to cover a 12 month maternity contract. As our

Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. The role involves opening and or closing the office when required , coordinating front-desk activities and offering administrative support across the organization. The administration function is considered a core function to our business running smoothly and operationally imperative. Therefore we are looking for an individual that likes variety and is able to manage multiple projects.



Requirements

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong IT skills (including Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Poitive 'can do' attitude and down to earth
  • Customer service approach, with aptitude to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Have expereience in similar role
  • Have experience within the IT setor or working with Retail clients (would be beneficial but not essential
  • Some exprience of event planning
  • Some exposure to social media


Some key duties include

  • Ownership of full recption duties, including greeting visitors, in line with Company's security procedures
  • Keeping meeting rooms, office and reception area clean and tidy to a high standard
  • Receive, sort and distrubute mail/deliveries
  • Screening telephone calls and taking/passing messages on to the relevant colleagues/department
  • Photocopying/scanning of documents/post
  • Maintaining and organising of three kitchensensuring they are clean, hygienic and safe
  • Purchasing weekly food/beverages and dsitributing between all three kitchens
  • Weekly stock check of food / beverage and kitchen supplies
  • Assisiting Office Manager with Health amp; Safety documentation and records
  • Setting up keys, fobs and lockers for new starters
  • Opening amp; closing the office in line with the Company's security procedures
  • Event planning and support (ordering merchandise, arranging couriers for events, monitor and chase where required
  • Responding to all colleague requests in a timely manner
  • Purchasing for the business
  • Manage and coordinate charity initiatives and events througho
