Job Description
Like a lot of technology companies, we are mostly working remotely at Starling and we think we will be for a while to come. We’re open to applications from across the UK but our preference is that you’re located within a commutable distance to either our London, Southampton or Cardiff office, so that when we’re able to see each other and collaborate in person again, we’re ready to go!

The team are expanding and as a result we are now looking for a Project Manager to support within Workplace Technology.
Requirements
A successful Project Manager at Starling is someone who:
- Takes a project from concept through to delivery and can demonstrate prior experience of doing this;
- Concisely communicates across audiences both internally and externally, and is comfortable taking their own initiative;
- Is eager and curious to learn. You don't need to have prior experience in banking, but experience with digital projects is essential.
- May have experience running a corporate system migration or an implementation project for a new SaaS products
- Understands Agile ways of working but is also comfortable delivering projects without a particular methodology in place
As a Project Manager at Starling you can expect to:
- Look at the performance and relevance of existing technology at the bank, determining how best to use the systems we have and what we can get from new vendors;
- Work with many different teams at Starling to help them select, implement and optimise a variety of tech from vendors and our own tech teams;
- Organise projects with external vendors dealing with every aspect of their work including, commercials, functionality, time scales, roll out and regulatory compliance;
- Develop go live strategies, testing and communication plans.
