The role - what you’ll do:

  • Posscess clear drive and ambition to over-achieve, with demonstrate the ability to effectively plan, manage and deliver annual revenue target, while having world-class metrics to follow (low churn rate, high customer engagement and 'hunter mentality').
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative communications designed to increase interest
  • Lead from the front regarding attitude, behaviours and be accountable for building your own pipeline strategy without reliance on inbound leads
  • 100% adherence to capturing all key prospect information in line with Dext systems and Tools
  • Work closely with Customer Success/SDR/Marketing amp; Product to identify and manage data driven projects, which focus on revenue, customer onboarding, churn reduction and prime firms for further upsell/cross-sell
  • Maintain a high conversion rate of sales pipeline
  • Strategically plan and execute on monthly quota, providing a world class experience to Partners (Customers)


Requirements


Skills

  • Ability to build an optimised strategy to consistently manage a pipeline and forecast accurately to overachieve
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of each opportunity and aspect of strategy to ensure a consistent performance
  • Demonstrates a strong time and territory management approach to showcase ability to best use time
  • Good use of questioning techniques to enable good discovery leading to a demonstrable ROI
  • 1+ years of previous sales experience and should demonstrate an aptitude in both the Consultative and Challenger Sale.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the SAAS/Accounting/Competitor environment and can confidently demonstrate that knowledge/understanding
  • Excellent product knowledge and the value proposition it brings
  • Adheres to, and builds upon, the sales methodology to drive success

  • Typically aims to achieve 120% of target
  • Good persistence when calling. Always makes multiple attempts with multiple stakeholders when prospecting
  • Loves to full utilize tools and systems
  • Always demonstrates a confident demeanor, and remains calm, professional and purposeful when knocked back. Quickly gets back to the task in hand
  • Role model attitude and creative thinker
