Our background and your main purpose

Ruroc make badass helmets Enginehawk makes badass jackets. As a group Ruroc and Enginehawk’s mission is to save lives on and off the bike. Both brands focus on creating the perfect balance between design and engineering to ensure our products save lives, look epic and set us apart from the competition. In 2019, Ruroc had our first $1m turnover day, in 2020 it had its first $1m turnover hour and in 2021 we had our first ever $1m turnover half an hour! Ruroc has grown from $1m rev to a $30m+ revenue Action / Motorsports brand selling into over 90 countries globally from our single distribution centre in Gloucester and we are primed ready to dominate an industry that has been stagnant for too long! The Enginehawk brand officially launches in April 2021 and is expected to match the growth and success that Ruroc has seen.

The brands, recently been backed by VC firm BGF with 7m, are completely D2C. All sales take place through our eCommerce stores www.ruroc.com and www.enginehawk.com giving us a direct connection with our customers that legacy / competitor brands do not possess. This close connection to the end rider has given us the ability to reduce the feedback loop and rapidly innovate and enhance our gear at a rate never seen before in the Global protective gear industry.

We control our destiny; we manage everything end-to-end to deliver our promise to customers and fulfil the potential of the brands. We are building world-class teams across the board and in 2021 we are investing in enhancing our supply chain with our own helmet factory to keep up with our ever-snowballing demand.

In October we went live with NetSuite, the business’s first ERP system. We’re now looking for someone to take the project to the next level, and truly make the most out of what NetSuite has to offer us. Reporting to Ruroc’s Tech Director, you’ll be instrumental to our tech team by managing the remaining roll out of our ERP system. You’ll need to work closely with all teams across the business, but in particular those who use NetSuite the most - Tech, Finance and Operations. Using your experience with NetSuite, you’ll need to understand the issues our end-users have and propose solutions for them that meet their needs. Our NetSuite integration heavily relies on data from our Magento website via Celigo’s integrator.io platform, so you’ll need to be comfortable with the two in order to utilise the data effectively and correctly. You’ll eventually be expected to get a comprehensive understanding of how our business operates, so that you can confidently make decisions on what processes we need to be following, best practices and appropriate software/service providers.

Main Accountabilities

• Use your deep knowledge of NetSuite to make decisions on best practices and processes for our business;
• Manage a team of NetSuite developers to implement solutions that meet other team’s requirements;
• Manage the roll out of new features with extensive testing and training;
• Be the go-to NetSuite expert for queries, troubleshooting and feature requests;
• Collaborate with the other teams to define business and technical requirements for new features. The business is constantly evolving, and the requirements should always keep this in mind. Features will have to be continuously updated - defining future-proof requirements will assist with this;
• Create documentation for our end-users, developers and yourself. This is a long-term project that will need to be maintained and utilised by many people over the years;
• Continually look to improve the performance, efficiency and usability of our NetSuite instance, dwelling on your experience with other NetSuite implementations;
• Provide assistance to other teams where required to help execute against goals;
• Positively impact and influence internal stakeholders and external partners;
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Tech, Finance and Operations teams;
• Uphold Ruroc’s brand vision and rules as set out in Ruroc’s PLAYBOOK;
  

Requirements

KEY SKILLS

• Comprehensive knowledgeable of everything NetSuite has to offer, able to make recommendations on all aspects of it
• Strong NetSuite consultancy or development knowledge
• Create project management plans and actively manage milestones, scope creep and deadlines
• Able to work independently using your own initiative to manage your time to prioritise feature and support requests
• Enthusiastic about being the driving force for Ruroc’s NetSuite project
• Flexibility in working attitude and an excellent team player
• Excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be working with every team in the business
• Comfortable going
