Our business helps our sponsors access and build close working relationships with their customers in the Talent Acquisition and Recruitment industry. Our delegates attend our events to access the latest thinking and innovations which helps them find and attract the very best talent to their business.

About the role

The Events and Marketing Team focuses on creating events that exceed the expectations of our sponsors.

The Global Delegate Acquisition Executive will be responsible for ensuring our global events are attended by the right number and quality of delegates. The events that the role will look after will focus on the US, APAC and European regions, the majority of these events will be virtual but out of standard hours work will be required to manage the virtual technology logistics.

The following explains what you will get involved with day to day:

  • Plan and deliver the delegate numbers for the events you are responsible for.
  • Using our extensive existing database and your own research, you will map suitable organisations to identify the HR, Recruitment and Talent teams.
  • Working with the team you will ensure this critical information is updated on an ongoing basis.
  • You will communicate with invited delegates and keep a clean and current guest list.
  • Analyse relevant industry verticals and geographical regions to identify businesses with organisation structures that are attractive to our sponsors
  • You will help to identify gaps in our data and ensure these are filled
  • Engage with senior level industry leaders to communicate the benefits of our events programme and encourage them to attend
  • Monitor event programme to ensure if it is not up to the required delegate numbers a plan is put in place to address the shortfall in a timely manner.
  • Develop tactics and strategies to manage cancellations, retention and ‘no-shows’.
  • You will liaise with sponsor contacts to ensure they have all relevant delegate information
  • You will work with external event suppliers for live events
  • You will set up and attend the virtual events to support the event chair
  • Post event follow-up includes making sure we do solid evaluation and learn how to get better (including data entry and analysis, sponsor and delegate feedback).

Requirements

Experience Required

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the Recruitment industry or in-house HR/Talent Acquisition
  • Industry research experience is advantageous

Skills required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be compiling bespoke emails and conducting calls with senior professionals in the market.
  • Foreign language skills, particularly German, will be beneficial so please detail any on your CV

IT literate from word and excel (intermediate/formula and budget use). We use Eventbrite as our current system for delegate registrations and training will be given on this. Knowledge of a CRM and account management systems would be advantageous, we use HubSpot.

Knowledge of virtual platforms such as zoom would be advantageous.

What we offer you


Benefits

Base salary of 24,000 (full time equivalent) plus a half yearly bonus scheme.

You get 23 days per year and additional years of service add to this. In addition, extra holidays at Christmas are donated at the company’s discretion.
