Main duties include:

  • Working closely with the Head of Finance amp; Accounting Manager to produce management accounts.
  • Assisting with on-going business analysis which helps drive the direction of the company
  • Analysis on monthly Pamp;Ls to be shared with the Finance Director
  • Responsibility for overhead management globally (EMEA, US amp; APAC) including the payment process.
  • Bank amp; accounts receivable reconciliations.
  • Assisting the Accounting Manager with monthly billing and debt collection, this will include forming good working relationships with client procurement/AP teams.
  • Assisting in maintenance of balance sheet schedules.
  • VAT returns and settlement
  • Interactions with pension providers and HMRC for settlement of pensions amp; tax liabilities

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Part qualified or newly qualified accountant.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to problem solving with an ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Experience in monthly management accounting (2+ years).
  • Good knowledge of Accounts Receivable: monthly billing cycles, credit control amp; payment reconciliations.
  • Good knowledge of Accounts Payable: overhead and expense coding with management information in mind.
  • Good knowledge of bank reconciliations.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes.
  • Good initiative to drive change within the finance team, particularly with process and controls improvements.
  • Excellent excel skills with experience in data manipulation desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
