Electrical and Gas Engineer
To carry out planned amp; Reactive HVAC maintenance tasks safely and to the required service level. To provide first line response to all emergencies during normal working hours and out of hours when on call (To be discussed)
We have sites all over the UK and engineers posted around strategically.
Must be happy to travel to jobs although we try to accommodate the closest engineer and schedule the jobs to be close as possible. Could be 2 hours or more one way travel at times. various areas covered Postcode area: E12, RM3, WD23, RH8 etc.
Effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions and escalate where necessary.
Breakdown and service of commercial gas boilers, burners, boilers pumps, pressurisation units and valves etc.
Majority of work is done in external plant rooms for care homes doing repairs or plant room upgrades , but occasionally is internal when issues with radiators amp; pipework etc.
Ensure parts and materials are ordered in a timely manner through company processes. Fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
To keep accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used via software
Company van provided if required, own van can be used and will be compensated for.
