Job Description

Airfinity is a science information and analytics company. Working for some of the world’s largest pharmaceuticals, governments and investors, the company has established itself as authoritative provider of predictive, actionable insights.

We are seeking a bookkeeper with experience of B2B subscription services. The work will primarily involve recording new subscriptions, recognition of income and monthly adjustments for prepayments. We use an additional service to carry out the analyses and to generate the required accounting entries. New subscriptions will have to be input via Pipdrive, into this system and the invoices generated checked and prepared for issue. There will also be general bookkeeping functions.


Accountable for delivering an accurate trail of company spending, you will be responsible for the variety of activities for our clients that include:

  • Accounting for subscription service income as above
  • Management of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions.
  • Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
  • Managing client invoices
  • Preparing supplier payment lists
  • Managing contractor invoicing and payments
  • Preparing schedules, statements and reports as requested
  • Managing amp; filing relevant documentation

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possess first-rate numerical skills
  • Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills and previous experience in a similar role
  • Fully experienced in all balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Solid organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of recurring subscription services accounting including prepayments, monthly charges, regular invoicing, identification of costs against classes of subscriptions and ensuring the accuracy of data to management accounts stage.
  • Highly computer literate with experience of Xero accounting system and add-in systems
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines, using a logical and methodical approach
  • Preferably have AAT or part ACCA qualifications. Knowledge of Excel and Word etc
