We are looking for Removals Porters to join our friendly removals team. Previous experience in the Removals Industry is an advantage, as is a full Driving Licence. However, if you are honest, reliable, possess a can do attitude and are committed to exceptional customer service then full training can be provided for the right candidates.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE
- Completing all aspects of a removal job, including packing, loading, and delivering furniture and effects
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Being responsible for driving, loading, and maintaining Company vehicles
- Being able to risk assess dynamically, recognising potential issues in advance and providing appropriate solutions
- Maintaining excellent customer service
- Having a positive approach to personal development
WORKING HOURS
- Our average working week is Monday to Friday
- Start times are job dependent but usually around 7am
- Due to the nature of the work, weekly hours and finish times are not set so you will need to have a flexible approach to this
- At times, you may be required to stay away from home overnight. Accommodation will be provided, and you will receive a 30 per night tax-free enhancement
- We offer occasional over-time, paid at a rate of time and a half on Saturdays and after 7pm, Monday to Frida

You will have:
- A level of physical fitness and health that meets the physical demands of the role

- A strong commitment to the personal development of yourself and others
- Previous experience in the removals industry as a Porter is an advantage but full training can be provided to the right candidate
- A Driving Licence and a maximum of 3 penalty points is also an advantage
