Requirements
The primary aim of the post will be to offer support, advice and guidance to students who are struggling with money management or experiencing funding or accommodation issues. The successful candidate will provide excellent student support services, aiding the recruitment, supporting the retention and achievement of students, and promoting the development of support. Based in the Student Wellbeing Team (Disability amp; Wellbeing) the postholder will provide accessible, coherent, and intuitive help to students seeking support with student finance funding, applications, eligibility and appeals, support for care experienced, independent students or those estranged from their family, bursary applications, budgeting and money management, and supporting current students with accommodation advice This is a central element in ICMP’s ongoing improvement of its student experience. The postholder will help to deliver an excellent experience for all students within ICMP by providing friendly, efficient, and effective advice and support on Student Money and Accommodation in response to student enquiries
The successful candidate will have experience in a customer service based environment ideally in Higher Education and experience in providing financial advice. They will have strong IT and communications skills and they will be good at developing strong working relationships. They will be self-motivated and they will have a proactive attitude to problem-solving.
