THE ROLE:

  • Produce original, social-focused concepts and solutions that are multi-faceted and incorporate all the elements of a great user experience while maintaining our house styles and brand objectives.
  • Create content and design treatments that effectively communicate reactive concepts and our brand identity to our 2M plus social following.
  • Liaise with all members within the Brand and Content department (predominantly social) when answering a brief to ensure consistency with all other MATCHESFASHION output.
  • Generate and update social franchise templates and work with the social team to create a simple and clear delivery plan to ensure content-wide consistency.
  • Maintain a close watch on social developments. New trends, styles and mechanics to ensure that MATCHESFASHION is delivering exciting platform specific content.
  • Be a social first advocate, understand how to translate briefs to these channels and speak up for what you know will deliver engagement and drive the MATCHESFASHION brand forward.
  • Create inspiring mood boards for achievable, relevant still life photo shoots.
  • Additionally, you will be required to design and produce layouts for online and offline to support our BAU design workload adhering to responsive templates when necessary, with an ability to enhance and refresh designs as needed. Making sure all artwork is to a high standard and delivered on time.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital design visible through a portfolio you will share on application.
  • A keen interest in the owned social channels of MATCHESFASHION.
  • An even keener interest in evolving those channels and highlighting new opportunities.
  • A love of social culture and new digital technologies. Think Memes, Gifs, NFT’s and beyond.
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour and layout.
  • High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, alongside SKETCH and any other relevant software.
  • A pro-active attitude with an ability to show initiative and generate ideas to constantly improve our channels.
  • A communicative and collaborative approach. We want to work with a team player who loves to share inspiring ideas with the rest of the creative team members.
  • Knowledge and structural understanding of HTML and CSS processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge and structural understanding of any 3D software / SPARK AR is a plus.
  • Ability to work to tight, reactive deadlines.
