THE ROLE

We are looking for the experienced Global Payroll amp; Benefits Manager to lead our People Operations team

This position requires strong analytical skills, people skills, vendor management and the desire to drive improvements and continuously simplify processes. This person will report directly to the People Director and will partner closely with local People Partners, Finance Managers and payroll vendors.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage HR operations

  • Manage all third-party providers ensuring consistent service delivery across agreed SLAs on a regional and global scale
  • Oversee and sign off payroll process for UK and HK keeping up with all legislation to remain compliant and ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Oversee statutory returns to HMRC and other government bodies
  • Provide strategic advice to the business on all payroll matters
  • Oversee HR data/process flow for wider team providing automation and improvements
  • Ensure the delivery of seamless and high accuracy HR processes and services with a key focus on enhancing the employee experience
  • Use data and metrics to track and measure day to day work but also to identify areas of efficiency and opportunity, tailoring data sets dependent on the needs of key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance of processes and services to both Company and local legal requirements
  • Own the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes to terms and conditions and offboarding
  • Develop the team, driving for high performance through effective management and leadership and encouraging partnership and collaboration with other teams and departments
  • Partner with the wider HR team to embed HR data capability to transform their ability to evaluate impacts and plan appropriate strategies
  • Project manage ad hoc projects as they occur that will drive simplification and standardisation
  • Provide guidance and advice acting as subject matter expert to advise on optimal service delivery for the People team
  • Work with the key stakeholders across the business to continually improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness on the level of service provided via use of technology and internal processes
  • Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of all controls across each market, and enable the ongoing identification of operational amp; regulatory risk or new projects

Reward and benefits strategy

  • Responsible for annual benefit renewal negotiations with providers, ensuring the business retains the best possible rates for employees and saves cost wherever possible.
  • Manage the relationship with our Pension Advisor, ensuring governance meetings happen and develop a Financial Education programme is in place for our employees
  • Carry out and work toward delivering Matches long term benefit strategy
  • Design and implement communication programs with your team to enhance the value of benefit programs and increase employee understanding and engagement.

HRIS System replacement

  • Mapping out HR processes within each geographical region and designing framework that delivers an
  • Applying business and local legislative policies within each region, whilst ensuring alignment to global policies
  • Overseeing data migration and build data integration for remaining operational systems
  • Partner with the business stakeholders to deliver project
  • Establishing compliance, operational and regulatory framework in order to drive efficient, accurate and compliance
  • Create robust test programme and roll out

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of managing outsourced payroll models and 3rd party vendor management
  • Previous experience of project management, implementing changes and efficiencies on a global scale
  • Demonstrated history of establishing successful and long -lasting relationships with various business functions (Finance, People Partners) and stakeholders across all levels
  • Experience of managing a team and passion for developme
