Job Title: Cleaning Manager
Location: Manchester Train Care Centre
Role Purpose:
To consistently deliver the highest standard of cleaning and associated contracted services to the Client’s Centre in line with the contract specification.
Role Requirements:
We seek to fill this role immediately
Pay: 11.50 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Nights 22:00 06:00
The main purpose of the job is to provide Management, guidance and direction to the cleaning team whilst working alongside the team ensuring that the teams are working in a safe manner and completing the daily tasks to the agreed standard. Support the Services Manager to supervise, in the management of the cleaning team from an operational level. Ensure staff are trained accordingly, provide inductions and training to new starters and ongoing training to existing staff. Provide leadership and direction, to assure that the company standards and policies are followed and maintained. To supervise, manage and monitor the day-to-day cleaning of the site.
We require any suitable Cleaning Manager to have a flexible approach to working hours, the cleaning duties will include all routine tasks in main areas, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, toilets, kitchen, you will be solely in charge of these areas, Cleaning of night staff clothes etc ready for the next night. Reliable, pro-active Cleaner, sought for cleaning service. Carrying out a cleaning service to a high standard. Must be able to work well on own initiative. A degree of Health and safety knowledge is desirable. A good working ethic, and to be capable of achieving high standards however is essential. To be able to work to set schedules and timescales. The suitable applicants will need to be versatile and flexible in their approach. Covering holiday and sickness as required.
