We are looking for an experienced leader to be responsible for the process and system design, operation and implementation across Zapp’s network of dark stores. This role has global scope, responsible for processes related to inbounding, inventory management, and outbound. The successful candidate will be able to improve store processes across all Zapp markets in order to drive exceptional customer experience while maintaining efficiency, reducing cost, and improving sustainability.


Responsibilities

  • Creating the blueprint for standardised processes and systems across the Zapp dark stores
  • Engage the learning and development teams to embed this blueprint across our network and ensure that it is bought into by stakeholders across the business
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to make sure we have the best in class technology to run our stores
  • Create a playbook for taking opportunities or problems all the way from identification to embedded at speed
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to lead the implementation of operational process improvement ensuring best practices and required localisation are reflected in product development
  • Ensure best in class processes and policies are delivered to ensure the highest standards of customer and employee experience and engagement

Requirements

  • Experience in an FMCG / food retail environment
  • Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques to drive change.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment
