The Internal Tech Recruiter will play a critical part in attracting and onboarding the very best talent to Zapp. You will be supporting the end-to-end recruitment life cycle of our tech roles in Germany and London. You will organise recruitment campaigns aimed at sourcing the best candidates for a dynamic, hyper growth business. In this role you will make sure that the candidates meet the bar on our high expectations and ensure a super smooth hiring experience for them and the hiring managers. Ultimately, you will be responsible for building up a best in class tech team and thereby play a significant role for the success of Zapp!


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and source passive candidates for software development roles
  • Efficiently create excellent Job descriptions for software development and IT operations roles, that reflect the exact positions needed
  • Ensures all new vacancies are fully approved within the ATS (Workable)
  • Post advertisements on appropriate job boards, and source suitable passive candidates from LinkedIn, Stack Overflow and other recruitment sites that are relevant for software engineering, BI and IT operations positions
  • Responsible for all initial candidate screening, CVs and first round interviews, for suitability and recommendations to our wider hiring team
  • Closely liaise with partners e.g. agencies and ensure the best mode of collaboration and output
  • Manage interview scheduling, including sending out interview invitations to candidates and hiring managers
  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop the Zapp employer brand
  • Ensure the highest quality in all our recruitment efforts, from Job Descriptions to outbound communication, feedback and on LinkedIn
  • Consistently improve the recruitment process where possible to ensure a super slick experience and efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience working in a tech recruitment role
  • A strong interest and understanding of software development processes, able to identify the right candidates with the right skillset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with software developers and discuss in detail what will be expected of them in the role if they are hired
  • Great at approaching passive candidates on relevant online platforms and in person for example at local tech meet-ups
  • Strong customer focus and able to build relationships with people of all levels
  • Excellent understanding of the tech talent market and awareness of trends and competition
  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System, ideally Workable, as well as active sourcing tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive network in the european tech industry is a plus
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively
