The Sponsorship Marketing Executive is responsible for the creation of marketing collateral and execution of sponsorship marketing campaigns. They will work closely with event marketing, sponsorship sales and the design team to support sponsor acquisition and renewal for our global portfolio of B2B events. The ideal candidate will be a marketing generalist with experience in copywriting, marketing brochures/collateral, digital/email marketing, and direct mail.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create media packs and proposals to support the sponsorship sales process from prospecting to deal close for each of the event products.
- Communicate ongoing value for sponsors to drive upsells and renewals. E.g., personalised post-event emails to recap value and proof of performance.
- Execute targeted marketing campaigns across website, email, direct mail, social media, and PPC.
- Maintain consistency and quality of marketing collateral across global products.
- Write compelling benefit-driven marketing copy.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to develop and improve sponsor lead nurture journeys.
- Collaborate with internal teams to hit marketing project deadlines. Including, event marketing, digital marketing operations, sponsorship sales, data amp; design.
- Track revenue amp; spend to ensure budgetary goals are met.
- Develop campaigns to improve sponsorship acquisition and renewal.
- Work with the marketing strategy team to analyse ROI on marketing tactics and refine plans on a continuous basis.
Requirements
Essential Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field
- 1-2 years marketing experience
Desired Experience:
- Experience supporting BD/Account Managers in marketing to key accounts and/or ABM is a plus
Essential Knowledge/skills:
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel to events if needed
- Innovative thinker, who challenges status quo and seeks to build, test, and learn to increase the impact of our sponsorship marketing
- As needed, will support the activation of additional marketing programs within the team
Desired Knowledge/skills:
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat a plus, but not essential
