Following some significant project wins, we are now aiming to bolster our team of passionate technologists with a senior web developer to join our expert development, UX and design teams and build some amazing experiences from the ground up, for high profile clients. As a Senior Web Developer at Nomensa, you will focus on project delivery using a broad range of technologies (as listed below) as well as being responsible for estimating and working in multi-disciplined agile teams. This is an exciting opportunity to provide mentoring support to colleagues involving competently reviewing more junior members of staff code, providing feedback and teaching industry best practice.
What you'll be doing
You'll be working closely with our teams of talented UX consultants, designers Accessibility and other developers with one intention: building cutting edge solutions using JAMstack architecture; Vue.js, Node.js, SASS and content/data API consumption via Axios, and developing these in a truly user centred way, following solid research and discovery from our user experience practitioners. You’ll also be building with future scalability in mind, writing clean, clever code and building modular assets that can be efficiently re-deployed.
Requirements
We’re looking for a talented, self-starting front-end developer who is highly skilled with JS frameworks including Vue and Angular , with commercial experience. With core experience of developing and implementing efficient and scalable and secure data driven web applications within the Financial sector (sector preferable but not essential).
You’ll need to understand Javascript (es6) and Node like the back of your hand and other aspects like state management, Vue lifecycle, API consumption, data security, and advising frontend architecture, and have advanced site-building experience. The platform you’ll be integrating with is Azure function apps and Dynamics 365 CRM, so a willingness to continue learning and developing your expertise as these technologies evolve is crucial.
We’re open to the level of experience you have, but most of all we are looking for passionate, commercial software engineers who build things to be as future-proof as possible, tailoring solutions to meet different user journeys and needs. Some exposure to supporting on sales, or client interation, and defining solutions would be preferable.You need to have strong leadership skills and have experience mentoring junior team members. You’ll also be able to understand and implement a high level of reusability and optimisation (SEO, accessibility, and performance) into your builds.
We are looking for someone with strong problem solving skills, able to make decisions, including tough ones, based on accurate and timely analysis. Skilled at prioritising competing demands and tasks, delegates without abdicating responsibility.
