Requirements
About The Role
- As an Engineering Lead in the Ingenuity Premium division your duties will mainly consist of the following:
- Assist with the day to day management of the THG Experiences and NonTransactional Sites
- Assist with forming processes around how these sites are built moving forward - integrating them within the Ingenuity Premium platform
- Explore avenues and help form the basis of the THG Experiences mobile apps - In particular how we leverage libraries and tools we already have internally and then how we extend on these.
- Assist in the migration of a number of sites from Wordpress / PHP over to the new ingenuity premium platform and CMS
- Help gradually build out dedicated teams in these areas which will look after all interests in this given estate.
- Able to provide technical feedback on questions around some of the challenges in these areas - working closely with our remote development teams to ascertain needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with the team, product owners and stakeholders to deliver key projects Help to establish processes in the above areas to allow us to scale
Technical amp; Soft Skills
- A solid knowledge of at least one OOP language (We use Java as one of a number of languages at THG however this role covers a range of languages such as PHP / Wordpress, React / NodeJS)
- A working knowledge of Wordpress / PHP / LAMP Stack
- Experience designing and building REST based APIs
- Experience integrating with internal and third-party services
- Experience with a range of CMS' in previous roles or tasks
- A strong understanding of software development best practices
- Able to see the bigger picture in terms of goals and technical challenges The ability to work autonomously as well as an integral part of a highly motivated team
