Five - "Driving Autonomy"

Five is a European leader in the field of automated driving systems. Our vision is a world where safe, green and accessible autonomous transportation advances the world in which we live!

We're creating a platform for autonomous vehicle development and safety assurance. Our platform will empower the industry to build automated driving systems that are safer, smarter, faster and scalable. We're doing this by applying insights learned from solving some of the most challenging problems in this space.

We're engineers, scientists, developers, and designers. We're problem-solvers, dreamers, pioneers, innovators, creatives and pragmatists. We're new hands and accomplished pros. We're hard-working people, solving far-reaching challenges.

About the Team

Our Assurance team comprises multi-disciplined assurance professionals across Vamp;V, Testing and Functional Safety. The team works cross functionally across the organisation and with customers to apply our development platform in pursuit of fast, efficient development of safe ADAS and self-driving systems.

What you will do

Our Test Engineers are responsible for ensuring quality through comprehensive testing of the ADAS and self-driving features we develop. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams to quickly deliver high quality, production level code that is core to those features. You’ll develop and execute test plans using SIL, HIL, and in-vehicle techniques, along with automated tests for SIL and HIL environments. You will participate in test plan reviews and contribute to the team’s testing strategy, develop simulation requirements and manage timing to align delivery of testing environments with production milestones, generate and present test reports and assist with documentation. You’ll also take responsibility for manual testing.

Requirements

About You

  • Proven experience developing and executing sw test cases in various environments, ideally with experience testing in vehicles and simulated environments
  • Experience with automotive test tools (e.g. INCA, CANoe, VehicleSpy, ControlDesk)
  • Experience with functional safety and ISO 26262 and SOTIF
  • Experience with scripting tools in Python
  • Ability to read and review complex algorithms in C, C++, Simulink
  • Experience in data analytics processing and data visualization tools would also be beneficial.

Benefits

You will be joining a European leader in the autonomous vehicle market where you can have a real impact in a smart, low-ego multi-cultural team. We're secure and growing, having raised $61m to date. We provide an environment where you can develop your skills and deliver meaningful work that matters whilst working closely with Five's founding team, who have previously built and run successful tech companies through to exit. You'll be rewarded with a competitive salary and financial package, pension, private medical care and importantly, share option schemes.

FiveAI is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity through attracting and retaining a complementary team of employees and building an inclusive environment for all.

Help us to build the future of safer autonomy!
