Sales Executive - Everyday Essentials

Excellent Package: 24k - 28k basic salary + 4.8k car allowance + commission

Realistic OTE Year 1 48k

The potential of the accounts you’ll be managing is not currently optimized. You’ll be representing established, respected powerhouse brands Selecta and Express Vending Express Vending in particular has a strong reputation in the Workplaces industry across London amp; the Home Counties. Innovation is highly prized and we are always looking at new concepts and ways to improve our market-leading offering for clients

Our Everyday Essentials team sell workplace refreshments: fruit baskets, dairy deliveries, office consumables, workplace catering, tea amp; coffee etc. The nature of this market is very fragmented and client loyalty is low in the market, meaning there is opportunity to optimise and uplift almost every client.

You’re given autonomy to run your patch as if your own business. The UK business is the leading and fastest growing wholesale channel in the Group. You will also gain experience dealing with household names.

You’ll be managing a portfolio of around 150 key accounts both remotely and in field: we anticipate a shift to remote-based meetings upon client request. Client accounts range from 5k - 25k, and a total portfolio worth of circa 1million in revenue, with targets to grow this by 20% 30% YOY. You’ll be targeted on 20 30 formal client appointments per month, which includes a mixture of generic account reviews and opportunities to upsell.

Alongside Account Management, strongly supported by our Client Experience Team, you’ll also be tasked with New Business Development, with very warm leads in through a mixture of internal leads and referrals from existing clients. Your core objectives will be: To retain grow existing clients Grow the size of accounts; Cross-selling and optimising accounts; On board new clients

Requirements

About you: What does excellent look like in this role?

  • Experienced in B2B sales. Some experience of selling long-term contracts and leasing (3+ years propositions) is desirable, though not essential.
  • Experience within FMCG Sales (such as consumable, office stationary etc) is transferable and selling into Workplaces or Corporates would be useful
  • A high-achieving Sales person with a history of hitting and overachieving on targets/KPI’s (we’ll need proof!)
  • You should be accustomed to a high volume of client calls/meetings and be highly self-motivated to meet stretching targets (20 30 meetings per month)
  • Experience of putting together a business plan in order to identify the right clients to target with the right products offering
  • A naturally consultative and collaborative relationship builder
  • Strategic, innovative, self-motivated and with a tenacious and upbeat attitude
  • Able to commute to Hemel Hempstead
