Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Optimisation Manager to join our team, responsible for supporting our Head of Revenue Management and the wider commercial team in delivering pricing amp; promotional strategies and processes, that will enable The Weetabix Food Company to deliver robust commercial agreements with key customers. This role will help lead, introduce and develop the revenue optimisation agenda for WFC. In this role, you will:
- Drive pricing amp; promotional strategy for WFC and be responsible for communicating this to the wider business.
- Analyse performance of pricing and promotional activity and influence the review of Revenue Management guidelines.
- Influence Account Management and Brand teams, to ensure compliance with the Revenue Management guidance, advising on the business case where escalation of any exceptions are necessary.
- Challenge and test ideas and proposals from Sales and Marketing before they go to the Revenue Management Governance meetings for sign-off, seeking guidance from Head of Revenue Management where necessary.
- Lead and manage pricing amp; promotion projects (e.g. implementation of pricing excellence roadmap).
- Lead and manage strategic revenue growth projects (e.g. eCommerce strategy).
- Prepare the agenda for the monthly Revenue Management Governance meeting, with cross collaboration with other key stakeholders.
- Support and challenge the Account Management and Finance teams in monthly forecast reviews, ensuring optimisation of revenue plans.
- Seek opportunities to optimise Revenue Management and champion commercial knowledge sharing within the wider Commercial teams and business.
- Understand SOX compliance requirements and challenge processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Requirements
You will have previous experience in analytical and/or commercial roles, ideally within FMCG/consumer goods, have strong leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen coupled with analytical and modelling skills and the ability to influence, challenge, support and work creatively to remove barriers within the business, influencing and engaging senior stakeholders. You’ll naturally be able to work at pace, prioritising and managing a diverse workload, be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will also have experience of using main datasets, e.g., EPOS, shopper data, promotional analysis data.
