Description
Little Learners is a 100-place nursery located in Bromley which is purpose built to suit the needs of 0-5 year old’s. It is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is recognised as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. The nursery is surrounded by open green space, with parking available and a highly qualified team that includes qualified teachers.
Little Learners are now looking for an Afternoon Kitchen Assistant to work 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri 3pm - 6pm) all year round alongside the Nursery Chef to assist in the preparation of nutritious and tasty food for the children.
Responsibilities
- To assist cook in preparations of meals at the nursery
- Ensure all children’s dietary needs are being met
- Ensure High standards of hygiene, health and safety are maintained are all times in the kitchen
- All daily cleaning completed e.g. floors, walls, sides all washed
- Daily paperwork completed and signed off
- Prepare plates/cutlery for all rooms at meal times
- Collect all dirty dishes from rooms, wash and put away.
- Be able to step up to take over cook’s role if cook on annual leave
What you need
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable but not essential
