Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of technical projects across THG operations e-commerce fulfilment, food manufacturing, and beauty manufacturing business streams.

You will be required to organise, schedule and manage all technical activities from concept to operational handover; coordinating the efforts of project stakeholders and business workstreams; and assuring the project safety, accuracy and quality.

This opportunity is based at our main distribution centre in Warrington (Omega South, Burtonwood) .

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the simultaneous delivery of multiple technical projects to e-commerce fulfilment and manufacturing business streams across multiple geographic regions
• Equipment tendering, evaluation and supplier selection
• Costing and value engineering of technical projects
• Management of project schedule, costs, variations and cash flow reporting
• Cross-functional coordination of business partners, internal and external stakeholders
• Site works coordination
• Project reporting and documentation
• Support the development of Technical Project Engineers

Requirements

To be considered for this role, located in Warrington Cheshire, you will need to be located within a reasonable commute of this office and you should have the following Qualifications and Skills / experience

• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial)
• Experience developing or integrating automated or technical systems

• Experience managing site works / installations

• Around 5 years’ experience working on technical projects

• Technical drawing and writing experience

• Positive and engaging attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management

• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking

• You will also need to be flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a high pressure fast-paced and exciting environment.

If you have the following it would be useful but not essential.

• Experience working in FMCG / Food / Pharma / E-Commerce .
• Experience in systems integration, machine automation and control systems.
• Experience working on greenfield development and installations
• Experience running competitive tenders
• Experience with system commissioning
