Job Description

We are on a mission to help radiologists detect breast cancer earlier using deep learning.

The funding will accelerate the roll out and rapid adoption of Mia (Mammography Intelligent Assessment) to address critical challenges in breast screening services.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineering Lead you will set the vision of our Forward Deployed team here at Kheiron. You will lead a team of talented engineers, who are working on Kheiron’s front line, and build a culture of excellence and pride in customer-facing engineering. In this position, expect to be doing a mixture of hands-on software development and team management.
The Foward Deployed team are doers who immerse themselves in our customers’ most intricate workflows, partner with customer teams, and explore the data. They work with our customers and partners as well as our internal product and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of Kheiron’s product rollout in the customers’ environment.
We have offices in London, Budapest, The Netherlands, and the US and are open to candidate locations within Europe.What you'll be doing:
  • Acting as player-coach to a small yet growing team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
  • Being the lead technical voice within our new Customer Success department, and shape the way we interact with customers through deployment.
  • Acting as the bridge between the engineering team, our partners, and customers.
  • Identifying relevant datasets through deep engagement with customers and partners and work to integrate the data into Kheiron’s data lake
  • Writing new software modules, and tools to enhance our products for deployments
  • Working with customers and partners to ensure the successful deployment and configuration of Kheiron’s core products
  • Continually improving our deployment methods, documenting the process to become more efficient at scale
  • Partnering with our Clinical and Commercial teams to ensure the successful completion of commercial and partner engagements
  • Understanding customer use cases and requirements, bring your findings back to the product team to help Kheiron build products that delight our customers
  • Interpret, validate and manage customer product amp; development requests
We'd love you to join if you have:
  • Proficiency with programming languages, Python preferred
  • Familiarity processing various data formats, such as CSV, XML, JSON, free text data; experience with HL7 and DICOM messages would be a plus
  • Experience with using SQL and various data analysis tools (Pandas)
  • Familiarity with networking, storage systems and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments
  • The ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Line management experience
  • A passion for being on the front line of work with customers
  • Willingness to travel as needed
