Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and highly organised professional to lead our talented and passionate retail team at our flagship King’s Cross store, a multi-purpose retail, cafe, restaurant and events space situated at the heart of the thriving new Coal Drops Yard retail redevelopment.

What you'll do
- Recruit and manage full-time and part-time staff for the store
- Train existing and new employees to excel in their roles
- Regulate the incentives and commission structure for your team
- Organise scheduling and rotas; managing annual leave approval
- Resolve customer queries and complaints to deliver outstanding service
- Assign and oversee day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the store team
- Liaise with concession partners on sales, stock replenishments and staffing
- Manage the store inventory, investigate stock queries for stock loss or faulty goods
- Oversee points of contact for the 100+ brands represented in the store, e.g. for deliveries, displays, general store enquiries and feedback on sales
- Collaborate with other departments on in-store events and activations
- Manage quarterly brand rotations utilising our in-house software, to include:
- Send and receive stock
- Oversee delivery notes and stock issues
- Ensure our displays meet high standards - Oversee sales and set targets for the store team
- Complete bi-annual performance reviews for the store team
- Collaborate with our New York and other future stores to ensure that processes align
- Work collaboratively to support the restaurant and cafe partner in the space
- Own the relationship with the Coal Drops estate landlord
- Liaise with the UK GM to achieve your goals in support of our company objectives

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail operations
- Experience of leading and managing in a shop-floor retail environment
- Self-motivated, highly organized and versatile
- Background or demonstrable interest in independent fashion, design and beauty brands
- An interest in and appreciation of ethical and sustainable business practices
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Enjoy being part of a team and doing whatever it takes to help that team succeed
- Ability to adapt and thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-growth business
