This role will ideally be based at our Dorking or Burton office

Our HR team are here to support our people and the People Services team support all operational HR queries to support our HR Business Partners, Recruitment Team and Lamp;D Team. We strive to deliver a first class HR service to our customers through continuous improvement and using our technology to our best advantage.

HR Operations support all aspects of HR administration, payroll and people data for our employee population. We onboard new starters, offboard leavers, process all employee changes, support with HR queries, employee benefits administration and assisting the HRBPs with employee relations activities.

The HR Operations co-ordinator plays a significant role in delivering a customer focused professional generalist HR Shared Service in all people related issues. Working in partnership with dedicated areas across the Company, the role will contribute to the future development of the business by creating, managing and constantly improving resourcing activities that support the company goals.

The main duties of the role cover the employee lifecycle, which include generating contracts of employment, supporting employee changes and processing leavers. Additionally, the role will actively support our Security Secretary in obtaining clearances for all employees and those engaged on our Projects. The role works closely with our Recruitment team, HRBPs and Lamp;D team to support the transactional HR requirements of the wider HR function.

The HR Operations co-ordinator will proactively ensure the company’s personnel records are accurate at all times and are in line with legislative requirements. This will include processing holiday and leave absences, Pension changes and all documentation in relation to Benefits offered by the Company.

Requirements

The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Experienced HR co-ordinator or administrator with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven record of consistent achievement across a broad range of HR generalist activities
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy across the board
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Customer service focus with a passion to deliver for our customers
  • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.

It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements:

  • Experience working in an HR shared service environment
  • Experience supporting a multi-site organisation
  • Competence in Microsoft packages
  • CIPD qualification
