We are looking for a Production Researcher to support our creative team with multiple tasks across several different campaigns for up to two weeks.
Working remotely via Teams and reporting to our producers, you will be responsible for any researcher tasks that arise across our different projects. These might include preparing research briefs on different topics and stories; finding contributors and experts; setting up shoots in different countries; fact-checking scripts; logging footage; carrying out background checks on contributors; or researching influencers.
With a passion for YouTube and social media and at least two years’ experience of TV production, including experience of documentary and preferably with some experience of current affairs or journalism, you will be resourceful, curious and brimming with ideas. You will also be passionate about politics and social issues, and able to research complex topics in order to find compelling angles and stories and present them in a clear and effective way. You will have experience of identifying and onboarding contributors and experts, and you will ideally have experience of international production.
This is a fast-paced production with an intense schedule, so you’ll need to be organised, efficient and with a can-do attitude to meeting deadlines. You will be a self-starter, willing and able to deliver excellent work within tight timeframes and budgets. You should be confident handling potentially sensitive and complex subject matters.
